Aspiring Actress: Meredith Rowen

Pilot season has officially started with the first round of casting calls making the rounds. I've decided to audition for as many things as possible, just to cover all my bases, but do I really want to do a kiddie show? Ugh! Well, maybe I'll try out for one of the Imaginary Friends... I'm definitely NOT wearing a dinosaur costume, thank you very much.

In other news, I think things are going to work out with me and Matt. We managed to wrangle my new bed into my room yesterday and I slept like the dead (after working off a little more energy solo) and woke up to a fabulous breakfast courtesy of my new roomie. Ahh, I could get used to this.... 

I am simply adoring this island life! Beautiful weather, great views, interesting natives, and the Studio has a really prominent presence here. It's almost like I imagine Hollywood to be but ... fresher, you know? Without the years of bitter disappointments and regrets to taint it. 

I'm really looking forward to pilot season, keeping my fingers crossed for some roles I can really sink my teeth into, but in the meanwhile I'm going to enjoy partying with getting to know my peers while I still have the time to.
